Put your keys in the ignition and warm up your engine, because I’m about to take you on a scenic tour of Ignition Casino. We won’t be racing, though, so don’t dart off too fast. It’s better to take your time and take in the scenery when reading an online casino review. It gives you a better overall view before you make a decision.
As with my other reviews, I’ll cover just about everything you could possibly want to know here, and I’ll keep it real all the way. Once we cross the finish line, I’ll either give you a green light or a big red stop sign, and then you can make your own mind up about whether you want to play here or not.

So, is Ignition Casino a top-of-the-line casino site or a clapped-out old banger? Let’s put the pedal to the metal and find out!
Is Ignition Casino Legit?
This is the most rigged online poker This is the most rigged online poker site I ever played. Every tournament I call someone who goes all in and every single time they catch a two outer on the river. Someone went all in after flop with Q 9 I call with Q J after flop reveals Q 7 5 on the river they catch a 9. Ignition Poker The stuff you read about this site is true. This site is a complete scam. I get my money in with the best hand about 90% of the time. I am not talking.
Ignition Casino has an excellent poker section, but it deserves more detail than what I can get into in this review. Luckily, we’ve already written a page on their poker offerings, and you can check out our entire comprehensive Ignition Poker review here. Download Poker Software. Online Poker is more than just a game, it’s a state of mind. When you play online poker for real money, you feel the action every time the cards are dealt. We want to change the rules and make every hand you play an unforgettable experience. At Ignition Casino, you’re in control no matter what style of play you choose: you can up your game and test drive new ways to.
Ignition Casino is definitely legitimate. I know so for the following reasons:
- It works with reputable, well-known gaming companies which have been around for a long time
- There are no major player complaints about Ignition Casino on popular gambling web forums
- This site runs on a secure, SSL-encrypted connection. Visit it, and you’ll see the word “secure” in green beside the web address
I like to provide some “key info” about each casino I review and the operator behind it. This stuff might not be the most exciting information, but it does help build a picture of the sort of operation each casino is.
Operator | Lynton Limited |
Year Established | 2016 |
Other Sites Owned | Slots.lv, Cafe Casino, Bovada, Bodog |
License(s) | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
Payouts Verified By | N/A |
Ideally, I’d like to see payouts verified by an independent third-party like eCOGRA, but I know the Kahnawake Gambling Commission can be trusted, so I’m not overly concerned. These guys have shut down more than one casino before, so you can rest easy in knowing that Ignition Casino isn’t a scam site.
It should also be mentioned that being associated with top US-friendly gambling sites like Bodog and Bovada is a big positive. These sites are at the top of the industry for a reason, and although this is a new brand under the same firm, it’s encouraging to see them linked to this site.
As far as design goes, it’s as user-friendly as I’ve come across. The orange, white, and dark grey color scheme works perfectly, and the layout is intuitive and easy to use. All of the main game categories are listed on a left-side menu (sticky menu on mobile), and there’s a useful search feature if you’re looking for a specific game.
Who Can and Can’t Play at Ignition Casino?
Players from the UK and the following states within the USA are prohibited: DE, MD, NJ, NV.
Apart from those states, all other players from the USA are welcome, which is somewhat refreshing given that so many casino sites don’t accept Americans.
If you find yourself excluded, check out our other casino reviews here.
The first thing I do every day when I wake up is find a few reasons to be positive, and I approach my day that way. I like to do the same with casino reviews. While I won’t let casinos off the hook for any shenanigans, it always helps to start thing off on a positive note.
USA Players Accepted
Regulations mean that American players are locked out of thousands of online casinos, which is a frustrating experience, to say the least.
Ignition Casino doesn’t care what Uncle Sam has to say about the situation. They fully welcome American players.
Huge Bonus Offers
I always enjoy a freebie, and I particularly enjoy sizable ones. Ignition Casino definitely offers that, with two huge welcome offers and weekly deposit matches which blow most of the competition out of the water.
Usually, big bonuses come with larger wagering/playthrough requirements. That isn’t the case here. In fact, the wagering terms are smaller than average.
Bitcoin Accepted
If you haven’t already at least tried using Bitcoin, you might be what’s called a “late adopter” in the S curve of tech adoption. I converted back in 2017, and I’ve never looked back since.
Obviously, this point doesn’t affect those who still think of Bitcoin as “funny internet money,” but more and more of us are using the best crypto out there, so I thought I would mention it here.
The Bad Stuff
In keeping with the truth, there are a few things which I would like to see improved at Ignition Casino.
What’s missing from this site? The following.
No Live Casino Games
I know, I know, it’s a lot of fun to play blackjack or roulette with the type of drop-dead gorgeous dealers you are now accustomed to thanks to live dealer games.
Sadly, you won’t be able to enjoy the company of such striking strangers here. There are no live games at Ignition Casino.
No Sportsbook/App
The rush that comes with watching a few football bets come in, followed by winning several hands of blackjack back to back, is one I freely admit I’m hooked on. However, sports betting isn’t available at this site, so do be aware of that.
Of course, you could always play casino games here and have a sportsbook open on another tab, so it really isn’t a big deal.
What use would a casino be if it offered only a handful of games or lots of subpar ones? Not much, in my experience!
Games are just as important as banking and customer service, and a casino without both a complete selection and quality options won’t get much of a rating from me.
In this section, I’ll show you exactly what Ignition Casino offers category by category. If you’re looking for a specific type of game, feel free to jump ahead to that category.
Software
You’ll find games here from Rival, RealTime Gaming, Revolver Gaming, and a few from Makitone Gaming.
I had to look up Makitone Gaming, as it isn’t a name I see every day. However, after researching it, I have no worries or concerns. It’s just an up-and-comer which has yet to establish a name for itself, and its games are excellent. I suggest checking out Koi Garden to see for yourself what this firm is made of.
Slots
The thought of an online casino without at least a couple hundred slots is a bizarre one in this day and age. Slots make up the majority of the games at all online casino sites, and this one is no exception.
I suggest checking out the following games:
- Robin Hood
- Good Fishes
- Loco 7’s
- A Switch in Time
- All Aboard
- As the Reels Turn
- Caesar’s Triumph
- El Luchador
- Heavyweight Gold
- Derby Dollars
- Cleopatra’s Coins
- Gladiator Wars
- Jack the Ripper
- Opera Night
- Costume Party
- Lion’s Roar
- One Million Reels BC
- Reel Blood
- Spy Game
- Wild Carnival
- Tahiti Time
- Reel Party
- Goldenman
- And many more!
I counted 200+ slots at this casino, but more are being added as they’re released, so this number will continually be revised upwards.
I love the fact that all of the slots can be played in “practice” mode. There were several games here which I had never come across before, so I used this option to dig into them and check them out without risking my own money. I suggest you do the same.
Video Poker
If you’re like me, meaning you love nothing more than to spend several hours going head-to-head with a mindless machine to try and extract cash from it by playing a game you actually stand a fair chance of winning, then there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy video poker.
I’ve been playing this game since I first became aware of casino games, so it takes a fair amount to impress me. I think the selection here is decent, but it’s not mind-blowing by any means.
You can play:
- Bonus Deuces Wild
- Bonus Poker
- Bonus Poker Deluxe
- Deuces Wild
- Double Bonus Poker
- Double D Bonus Poker
- Double Jackpot Poker
- Jacks or Better
- Joker Poker
- Loose Deuces
The games load quickly and are what you would expect – they play smoothly and are indistinguishable from many other video poker games out there, which is a good thing, in my view.
You can check them out in demo mode or can play for between $0.05 and $5 per hand. Some multi-hand variants are available if you want to add a little spice to the rice and get a buzz going.
Table Games
Great casino games like blackjack and roulette have been around since as long as anyone can trace back, and there’ll likely be someone spinning the roulette wheel or playing a hand of cards when the apocalypse finally goes down.
Ignition Casino offers the following table and card games in digital format:
- Classic Blackjack
- Single Deck Blackjack
- Double Deck Blackjack
- European Blackjack
- Perfect Pairs
- Zappit Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Craps
- Classic Craps
- American Roulette
- European Roulette
- Let ‘Em Ride
- Tri Card Poker
- Caribbean Stud Poker
- Caribbean Hold’em Poker
- Pai Gow Poker
- Three Card Rummy
- Roll the Dice
This represents a solid selection of games, offering something for everyone. I also like that they can be arranged/displayed by category using a drop-down menu on the main menu tab.
As with the other games here, you can check these out in demo mode to get a feel for them and practice your strategies. You’ll have a fun balance of $1,000,000 to begin with.
Ignition Casino Review Poker
Once you’re ready to bet for real money, you can risk between $1 and $1,000, depending on the game you’re playing. Always gamble responsibly where table limits this high are concerned.
Other Games
Bingo, keno, Sudoku, and several arcade games are available if you fancy a break from the classic casino games.
Note that unlike many sites, there are multiple variants of each of the above games. For example, you can play European, American, 80Ball, GoGo, and several themed variants of bingo.
Since most sites think of the “other” games section as an afterthought, this could be a great site if you enjoy these games.
My Favorite Find at Ignition Casino
I really enjoyed playing craps at Ignition Casino. This is a game far too many online casinos overlook, and I’m glad this one has decided to include it. I’ll freely admit I don’t understand every single bet and possible outcome on the craps table, even after playing it many times. However, I have a heck of a lot of fun figuring it out and experimenting with the various craps strategies I’ve picked up over the years, and I think the sharp, smooth craps game at Ignition Casino deserves a mention here.
Poker
Ignition Casino has an excellent poker section, but it deserves more detail than what I can get into in this review. Luckily, we’ve already written a page on their poker offerings, and you can check out our entire comprehensive Ignition Poker review here.
Promotions
Welcome bonuses are always appreciated, and Ignition Casino offers several. You’ll be able to claim them whether you’re using regular currency or Bitcoin.
Here’s a rundown of what’s on offer.
Casino Welcome Bonus
This offer is easy to understand, which is how I like them. You can claim a 100% deposit match up to the value of $1,000.
This is a one-off bonus, meaning you can only claim it once, so it’s best to maximize it if you do go for it. Also be aware that it’s subject to 25x wagering/playthrough requirements.
Bitcoin Welcome Bonus
If you want to play casino games with Bitcoin, you’ll be happy to learn that you can claim a 200% deposit match up to the value of $2,000. You’ll need to use the Ignition Casino bonus code IGBITCOIN200 to do so.
The bonus is a one-time deal, meaning you’ll only be able to claim it based on your first deposit, so it’s best to max it out. Once you claim it, it’s subject to 25x wagering/playthrough requirements before it can be withdrawn.
Bitcoin Reload Bonuses
Each time you make a deposit using Bitcoin, you can claim a 25% deposit match up to the value of $1,000.
Is Ignition Poker Rigged System
You can claim these bonuses an unlimited number of times, meaning each and every time you deposit, if you like.
Do keep in mind that the bonus cash is subject to 25x wagering/playthrough requirements, as are most other bonuses at Ignition Casino.
Weekly Casino Reload Bonuses
If you just want to stick to using good old greenbacks, rather than Bitcoin, you can claim weekly reload bonuses of 100% up to $100.
Each weekly reload bonus will have its own bonus code and wagering requirements. These will change from week to week, so be sure to check the terms before accepting each offer.
Tell A Friend
If you know a few friends who like to gamble, Ignition Casino will give you up to $100 if you let them know and they decide to sign up.
You’ll get your own Ignition Casino referral link, and once your friend signs up and makes a deposit, you’ll get a 200% bonus up to the value of $100.
This bonus is subject to the same 25x wagering requirements as the others at this casino.
Bonuses Summary
These are some mighty tempting bonuses, and I for one would take all of them. I was expecting the wagering/playthrough requirements to be a lot higher given the large amounts on offer and was pleasantly surprised to find such competitive terms. They’re all worth taking, so go ahead and pick the one you like most to get started.
I never overlook the banking section of an online casino. Experience has taught me that this area is crucially important, and far too many players get their fingers burned by not paying attention to it.
You’ll be able to deposit and withdraw by cards and Bitcoin. This is okay, but I’d prefer to see some other options like Neteller, Skrill, and Paysafecard.
There are no fees for making either deposits or withdrawals at this casino. The only exception is if you withdraw by check, in which case there’s a $50 fee if you request more than one check in a given month. The first check is always free.
As is clear from the bonuses section above, Ignition Casino does accept Bitcoin. This is a big positive for a crypto enthusiast like myself.
Ignition Poker Problems
Withdrawal times are between 3-10 business days. You’ll also be expected to provide a copy of a government-issued ID and recent utility bill to prove your identity before most withdrawals will be processed.
There are no predatory, unfair, or concerning clauses in the terms and conditions, which I zeroed in on and checked thoroughly. All is above board here.
Deposit Methods
- Credit Cards
- Debit Cards
- Bitcoin

VIP Program
If you like to be rewarded for your loyalty, you’ll be glad to know that there’s an Ignition Casino loyalty program. You earn “miles” (which is only appropriate given the name of this casino) for each real-money bet you make on any game.
As with many casino loyalty programs, there are eight levels to this one. As you climb through the ranks, the rewards get better and better. The rewards program is structured as follows:
- Steel – At this level, 2,500 miles gets you $1 in bonus cash, and your daily cashback bonus is 6%
- Chrome – 2,250 miles gets you $1 at this level, and your cashback bonus is 7%
- Bronze – You’ll only need 2,000 miles to get $1 of bonus cash once you reach this level. Your daily cashback rate jumps to 8%
- Silver – 1,750 miles gets you $1, and your cashback rate is 9%
- Gold – You’ll only need 1,500 miles to get $1 at this level, and your cashback rate is 10%
- Platinum – To get $1 bonus cash at this level, you’ll need 1,250 miles. You’ll also get 11% cashback daily
- Titanium – 1,000 miles gets you $1 at this level, and your daily cashback rate is 12%
- Diamond – You’ll also need 1,000 miles to get $1 at the top level, but your cashback rate jumps to 15%
I like that you can’t lose your level at this casino, which definitely isn’t the case at many rival casino sites. That means if you take a break for a few weeks or months, you’ll be able to pick up where you left off.
Getting in touch with the Ignition Casino customer service team can be done via the following methods.
Email – There’s a contact form directly on the website which you can use to reach out. Click the email icon on the main menu bar, and it will pop up on your screen. Expect replies to take up to 24 hours, which means this method is best used for general questions which don’t require fast answers.
Live Chat – The speech bubble icon is always something I like to see, and it’s the one you want to click to use the live chat feature at Ignition Casino. Help is available around the clock, and I was impressed with the fast, courteous answers I received when I inquired about bonus terms and conditions.
Telephone – If you’re not quite at home with digital communication and prefer to pick up the phone and chat with someone, call 1-855-370-0600. Obviously, this is a toll-free number for North Americans. I don’t advise calling it from anywhere else.
The customer service here is on point. This is how it should be done. I had read a player complaint about it before I reviewed this site, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it surpassed my expectations. Bravo, Team Ignition!
Would I Play at Ignition Casino?
I would most certainly play at Ignition Casino, and in fact, I will be doing so going forward.
If you want mammoth bonuses, lots of high-quality games, fair banking, and professional customer support, I can recommend this casino.
However, I don’t think you should just take my word for it. The best way to decide if this is the casino for you is to check it out for yourself!

Poker Sites in the United States
Online poker sites and casinos have had their fair share of scandals. That’s why it’s always smart to make sure your money is going to a respectable and fair site. Luckily, a lot of these scandals helped bring on better regulation and online poker is as safe as it’s ever been.
Online poker operated in a grey zone when it became popular in the early 2000s. Things got even greyer after the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) passed in 2006. Some sites like Party Poker pulled out of the United States while others like PokerStars and Full Tilt kept operating in the United States. Then came Black Friday. On April 15, 2011, the Department of Justice seized the PokerStars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker websites. After that, sites were forced to pay out players but Full Tilt and Absolute Poker had squandered player funds and turned out to be insolvent.
It’s been almost a decade since then though. In that time poker legislation in the United States has started to catch up with other countries around the world. In 2012, a federal judge in Brooklyn ruled that poker was a game of skill, not chance, and that opened the doors for states to legalize online poker.
Sites popping up now have to abide by a strict set of rules and regulations and are regulated by third-parties. Legitimate gaming sites also have random number generator software that are consistently tested, inspected and certified.
Encryption technology has also advanced substantially in the past few years. Poker sites use this technology to ensure that all your banking and personal information is secured in a digital fortress.
Is online poker legal in the United States?
Online poker is currently regulated on a state-by-state basis in the United States. The 2012 federal court ruling opened the door for legal online poker and, not surprisingly, Nevada was the first state to walk through it.
In 2013, Ultimate Poker became the first site to deal a hand of legal online poker in Nevada. Delaware joined the poker party later that year and then New Jersey became the third –and most populous– state to offer online poker a month later. Since then, Pennsylvania and West Virginia have legalized online poker, but only Pennsylvania has started offering games so far.
PokerStars launched in Pennsylvania in late 2019 while online poker in West Virginia is expected to go live sometime in 2022.
What if I’m not in one of those states?
The good news is that there are plenty of sites looking to legalize online poker too. New York, California, Iowa and others are taking steps towards legalization. But if you’re in those states or any others across the United States, you can still fire up a game of poker.
We’ve also taken the time to review some of the best online poker sites that offer games to players across the United States. Check out our top picks below:
Best Online Poker Sites 2021
Why Ignition Poker?
You might’ve noticed that Ignition Poker tops our list of best sites for U.S. players. If you’re curious about how it earned that spot, we’re here to help. Ignition poker launched in the spring of 2016 and just a few months later, the site bought Bovada Poker’s player pool, making it the second-largest online gaming site that accepted U.S. players. One of the key elements of any poker site is the size of its player pool. This affects everything from the types of games offered, the stakes, wait times and tournament prize pools.
Ignition Poker is also a sleek-looking site with an intuitive interface that doesn’t get in the way. It easily lets you do what you’re there to do: play poker. The site is also linked to an online casino, so you get lots of recreational players in cash games and tournaments. The platform is also Bovada’s proprietary software, so it’s a true tried and tested technology fueling the fire behind Ignition Poker.
There are plenty of other neat features that also sets Ignition Poker apart from the competition.
Ignition Poker highlights
- Quick Seat: Choose a poker game like Texas Hold’em, Omaha, or Omaha Hi/Lo along with the stakes and Quick Seat automatically seats you at a table.
- Anonymous Tables: There are no Heads-Up Displays (HUDs) allowed, so other players can track your hand history. You have to get reads on your opponents the old-fashioned way.
- Zone Poker: A fast-fold feature where you’re assigned to a new table once you fold a hand. This speeds up your hands per hour significantly and could improve your profitability.
- In-Software Casino Games: If you prefer to sit through hands, you can play In-Software Casino Games like blackjack, roulette, video poker, or 3D slots.
- Mobile Poker: Play poker anytime, anywhere with the mobile poker apps for Android and iOS. Jackpot Sit-and-Go games cater to mobile poker players with winnings of up to 1000x while you’re on the go.
- Softer Opponents: Ignition Poker has a huge community of recreational players. If you study up on your game, then softer opponents means more pots and money for you.
What to look for in a poker site
If you come across another site that isn’t on our list, we’ve come up with a few things you should look for when you want to see if a poker site is legitimate and safe. Check to see if the site checks off all the things below. That’s a good indicator the site is good to play at. If a site doesn’t offer one or more of these things, you should pump on the brakes and find a site that does.
- Player Traffic: Player traffic isn’t just a good for game selection, it’s a good indicator that a site has been around long enough and been secure enough to gather a large player pool.
- Good Software: Top software means a site has dedicated time and resources to provide top-notch software. Less reputable sites don’t tend to invest as much in this. Quality software also means fewer glitches or issues that could end up costing you money.
- Experience: Do some research and see how long the poker site, or its parent company has been in business. If the site has been around for a while and has licenses or is regulated in a jurisdiction, it’s a good sign it’s reputable.
- Banking Options: It often comes down to sensible payment options, including credit cards, web wallets, and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
- Security and openness: These things may seem incompatible, but good sites offer both. A quality gaming site locks the doors when it needs too, and lets people in where transparency is needed. Ideally, a site will offer encryption that protects your personal and banking information. At the same time, you want a site that lets independent third-parties audit its software to make sure the games are fair.
Are Sites Rigged? Is my Money Safe?
While there are many claims online that certain sites are rigged, there has been no math to back it up. Most sites use elaborate random number generators and algorithms that help increase entropy to ensure that every hand is truly random. Sites let independent third-party companies check out this software to test their fairness. On top of that, if a site is regulated in any jurisdiction, they have to meet stringent standards that include independent audits. This ensures that games are safe and not rigged.
If you don’t trust these commissions, then you can always trust the poker community to root out any rigged games. For instance, poker players on TwoPlusTwo conducted a thorough investigation and uncovered a cheating scandal on Ultimate Bet after players started posting about suspicious players.
Sites also have a myriad of security and banking options to help guarantee that your money is safe at all times. In addition, third-party payment processors can also handle your banking information on several sites so you never have to directly input your information on the sites. On top of that, encryption technology is getting better every day and sites are using it to lock your information behind several layers of high-tech security.
Can I Play for Free?
Yes! Most of the sites we’ve mentioned offer play money options, that means you can start playing for free. This is a great way for you to try out sites, in addition to getting a feel for the software or just brush up on your poker skills before you take a dive into real money poker.
Lots of these sites also offer freerolls that can ignite your real money poker adventure for free. However, if you want to learn a bit more while you’re not on the table, there’s been plenty of free poker content sprouting up too. You can watch hours of streamed poker games on Twitch and YouTube. Some players are really helpful in explaining and breaking down their play for new players. Online forums like TwoPlusTwo also offer a giant well of information that’ll help any poker player kickstart their career. In addition, you can also post your hands and other players will comment with hints, tips and sometimes a few needles.
